The descent started when Obama (America’s first “prick-tator”) started wielding his phone and pen which, thankfully, is now being undone. In this process, he enabled a sense of entitlement among the various fringe groups that comprise what is really a minority (in numbers), Democrat party. Chief among their sense of “entitlement” is the use of the force of government to foist and decree various mandates upon the rest of us – without debate or even the legislative process. In fact, all debate is mostly suffocated by claims of “racism” with the help of the complicit media. I am reminded of an analogous situation in the third world country of Guyana (of Jonestown infamy), with which I have some familiarity. When the 28+ year old dictatorship there finally allowed themselves to lose an election by agreeing with Jimmy Carter to stop the rigging, it didn’t take long for the deposed leadership to decide to make the country “ungovernable” by spreading “mo’ fire” and “slow fire,” literally and figuratively. So, along with calls from single brain cell celebrities, who have so much in common with the rest of us, for actions that mirror the third world, we have politicians at the highest level of the Democrat party (Chuck Schumer and Tim Kaine, for example) stoking the flames. I’d ask if these people have no sense of decency for what is supposed to be a first world nation but I know that they abandoned all pretense of this a long time ago. Make no mistake, along with the media, their aim is to make the country “ungovernable” because they believe it is their birthright to tell the rest of us how to live our lives under the scrutiny and force of their government. The problem is that they’ve lost that to which they feel entitled and they still do not know why and cannot get over it. The palpable fear is that Mr. Trump will be wildly successful and this represents an overwhelming threat to their fascist desires.
So the tantrum continues, as one might find in a third world nation. It obviously doesn’t help that the rule of law was blown up under the previous administration with their, in my opinion, willful coddling of these domestic terrorists; exactly as they did the international ones. The Democrat party is to them what an Imam at a top madrassa is to a budding terrorist. It is rather unfortunate that these people will not accept the losers’ participation trophy and let our lives go on in peace. What’s to be done? On inauguration day, someone sent me a text saying, “what a shame about the violent protests,” my response was, “they should be shot with rubber bullets, tear gassed and be driven off the streets and if they were in fact paid, the source(s) of their funding should be tracked down and arrested for incitement.” I still believe this is what needs to be done because as their desperation grows, the situation will likely worsen; there is absolutely no reason why law-abiding citizens of this country should have to deal with the vandalism and anarchy.
Regarding the travel suspension, I’d suggest that it wasn’t far-reaching enough. (Related to this suspension, let there be no doubt that across the media spectrum, there are people waiting breathlessly for a jihadist to attack here in the US so that they can immediately proceed to blame this suspension as the motive.) Under the radar, the Obama administration handed visitor’s visas (valid for 5 or 10 years) to practically anyone who showed up at a US Embassy or Consulate abroad. This was a completely legal way of opening our borders and with no exit tracking system, no one really knows who has stayed in the country illegally. Every single visitor’s visa issued over the last 8 years ought to be nullified; this can be done simply by having ICE rejecting entries into the US and informing travelers abroad that they need to re-apply for a new visa. Furthermore, any woman who is 7 months or more pregnant should not be allowed into the country, unless there are some extenuating circumstances. Anchor babies are being delivered across the country particularly in states such as CA and NY; this cannot be allowed to continue at the expense of US taxpayers. More generally, any reform of the immigration system must end chain immigration and a points based system has to be instituted in order to ensure that the continuing rip-off of hardworking taxpayers will cease.
