Arresting the Slide into Third World-ism

The descent started when Obama (America’s first “prick-tator”) started wielding his phone and pen which, thankfully, is now being undone. In this process, he enabled a sense of entitlement among the various fringe groups that comprise what is really a minority (in numbers), Democrat party. Chief among their sense of “entitlement” is the use of the force of government to foist and decree various mandates upon the rest of us – without debate or even the legislative process. In fact, all debate is mostly suffocated by claims of “racism” with the help of the complicit media. I am reminded of an analogous situation in the third world country of Guyana (of Jonestown infamy), with which I have some familiarity. When the 28+ year old dictatorship there finally allowed themselves to lose an election by agreeing with Jimmy Carter to stop the rigging, it didn’t take long for the deposed leadership to decide to make the country “ungovernable” by spreading “mo’ fire” and “slow fire,” literally and figuratively. So, along with calls from single brain cell celebrities, who have so much in common with the rest of us, for actions that mirror the third world, we have politicians at the highest level of the Democrat party (Chuck Schumer and Tim Kaine, for example) stoking the flames. I’d ask if these people have no sense of decency for what is supposed to be a first world nation but I know that they abandoned all pretense of this a long time ago. Make no mistake, along with the media, their aim is to make the country “ungovernable” because they believe it is their birthright to tell the rest of us how to live our lives under the scrutiny and force of their government. The problem is that they’ve lost that to which they feel entitled and they still do not know why and cannot get over it. The palpable fear is that Mr. Trump will be wildly successful and this represents an overwhelming threat to their fascist desires.

So the tantrum continues, as one might find in a third world nation. It obviously doesn’t help that the rule of law was blown up under the previous administration with their, in my opinion, willful coddling of these domestic terrorists; exactly as they did the international ones. The Democrat party is to them what an Imam at a top madrassa is to a budding terrorist. It is rather unfortunate that these people will not accept the losers’ participation trophy and let our lives go on in peace. What’s to be done? On inauguration day, someone sent me a text saying, “what a shame about the violent protests,” my response was, “they should be shot with rubber bullets, tear gassed and be driven off the streets and if they were in fact paid, the source(s) of their funding should be tracked down and arrested for incitement.” I still believe this is what needs to be done because as their desperation grows, the situation will likely worsen; there is absolutely no reason why law-abiding citizens of this country should have to deal with the vandalism and anarchy.

Regarding the travel suspension, I’d suggest that it wasn’t far-reaching enough. (Related to this suspension, let there be no doubt that across the media spectrum, there are people waiting breathlessly for a jihadist to attack here in the US so that they can immediately proceed to blame this suspension as the motive.) Under the radar, the Obama administration handed visitor’s visas (valid for 5 or 10 years) to practically anyone who showed up at a US Embassy or Consulate abroad. This was a completely legal way of opening our borders and with no exit tracking system, no one really knows who has stayed in the country illegally. Every single visitor’s visa issued over the last 8 years ought to be nullified; this can be done simply by having ICE rejecting entries into the US and informing travelers abroad that they need to re-apply for a new visa. Furthermore, any woman who is 7 months or more pregnant should not be allowed into the country, unless there are some extenuating circumstances. Anchor babies are being delivered across the country particularly in states such as CA and NY; this cannot be allowed to continue at the expense of US taxpayers. More generally, any reform of the immigration system must end chain immigration and a points based system has to be instituted in order to ensure that the continuing rip-off of hardworking taxpayers will cease.

“DESPERATE…”

It’d seem to me that by now, the Trump campaign ought to be pinning the “desperate” label on the Clinton campaign, specifically, as follows:

HRC is “desperate” because:

She has no vision for the future of this country that is any different from the failed and extremist policies she and her party have offered for the last 50 years and those that have been implemented over the last 7 years by the Obama administration.

She has come to the realization that you cannot fool all of the people all of the time and that the farce that has been the Obama administration will not be given a third term.

With 90+ % of the media as her puppets, she will not win and has taken to wondering why she is not 50 points ahead.

Automatically disqualified herself by mishandling classified information and finally understands that the American people, the “deplorables,” will not support and promote a lying, crooked, lawless person to the highest office in the land.

Knows that absolute power corrupts absolutely, has craved it her entire life and sees her chance for it slipping away.

The President’s and her racist and sexist appeal to divisions along race and sexist lines is simply not working.

Bought and paid for, she will not be able to deliver to her donors, foreign and domestic and the Clinton Foundation may be bankrupted as a result. She’s on notice that America and the Oval Office are not for sale.

Because the only experience she has is in setting the world on fire, deleting emails and believing that servers can be protected by the Secret Service and that they can be wiped with “a cloth.”

Her only claims to success have been in containing “bimbo eruptions,” evading indictment for various criminal activities and defending a child rapist.

Realizes that airline staff who have flown to 113 countries are better qualified than she is.

Recognizes that the American people see the utter hypocrisy in the argument that she’s the “most qualified” to run for President which suggests that Obama must have been the least qualified and yet by her and her party’s measure, the inexperienced one has done a terrific job.

Made a mistake by prematurely declaring her imperiousness by referring to Republicans and Conservatives as enemies worse than terrorists; they’ve come to understand that they will suffer the most if she wins.

The Beltway Brigade and Donald Trump

Perhaps it is incredibly naïve to think that the people who profess to believe in conservatism, smaller government, free market capitalism and liberty (pursuit of happiness) would apply some of these basic principles to the nomination process for the Republican party. Instead, we have the Beltway brigade, the self-appointed (on the right) elites who believe that, in spite of the fact that they live in a bubble, they know what is best for the unwashed rabble out there. What these people might really know is what is best for the political class and their fellow elites in D.C., New York and LA. Just like the politicians whose first and foremost preoccupation is to be re-elected, the Beltway brigade’s is to preserve the status quo, tell the rest of us what and how to think, get rich in the process and importantly, preserve their social availability for cocktail parties no matter which “side of the aisle” wins. I am sorry, this is not how it works; this is not conservatism at its most basic which, in my view, is about freedom. What it is, is the model of the left where people succumb to groupthink and will gladly do as their told in exchange for putting control of their lives in the hands of some chosen few. We have heard now from every single one of these vessels of the establishment, each trying to be the David to bring down the goliath that is Donald Trump; the reward and accolades would be historic, spectacular! If any of these people (and there is really no need to name names) have taken on the sell-out wimps that control the Republican party leadership with the same venom that they’ve been attacking Mr. Trump, I have missed it. None of them, to my knowledge, has vociferously defended conservative principles when they are attacked and undermined by the current Congressional leadership; none.

My advice then to the Beltway brigade, you’ve all said your piece and opinion with respect to the ongoing primary race, it’s out there, we’ve heard you. Now, act in accordance with the principles you profess to believe in and let the chips fall where they may. It may also help to accept that if none of the other candidates can beat Mr. Trump in this race, it is very likely that he/she will not be able to beat the Democrat party nominee. Mr. Trump fights (and actually fights back) as well or better than the cabal that is that party and its minions in the media; so conversely, if someone else in the race can take him on, on his terms and win, there is every likelihood that this person will have the fortitude to prevail in the general election.
